🔗 Linking Your Account

Linking your SportEve account to player profiles is the key to unlocking unified statistics across all sports, communities, and tournaments. This is one of SportEve's unique features that sets it apart from other sports apps.

You can link your account from multiple places in the app:

1. From Team Squad

1. Go to a community → Teams tab
2. Select a team
3. View the team squad
4. Find your player profile
5. Tap on your player profile
6. Tap "Link My Account" or use a linking code

2. From Tournament Leaderboard

1. Go to a cricket tournament detail page
2. Navigate to the LEADERBOARD tab
3. Find your player entry in the leaderboard
4. Tap the link icon next to your player name
5. You'll be taken to the player detail/account linking page
6. Link your account using the linking code or direct link option

3. From Match Scorecard

1. Go to a completed match
2. View the scorecard
3. Tap on any player name (including your own)
4. If the player is not linked, you'll see the account linking page
5. Link your account if it's your player profile

4. From Player Detail Page

1. Navigate to any player detail page (from teams, members, or matches)
2. If the player profile is not linked, you'll see linking options
3. Use either method to link:
   • Direct Link: Tap "Link My Account" button (if you're signed in)
   • Linking Code: Enter a unique linking code provided by the player or admin

Method 1: Direct Link (Recommended)

1. Make sure you're signed in to your SportEve account
2. Navigate to the player profile you want to link
3. Tap the "Link My Account" button
4. Confirm the linking action
5. Your account is now linked to that player profile

Method 2: Using a Linking Code

1. Get a linking code from the player or tournament admin
2. Navigate to the player profile
3. Enter the linking code in the "Enter Linking Code" field
4. Tap "Link with Code"
5. Your account is now linked to that player profile

You can link multiple player profiles to your SportEve account if you play for different teams or in different communities:

1. Link your first player profile using any of the methods above
2. Navigate to another player profile (from a different team or community)
3. Link that profile to your account as well
4. All statistics from linked profiles are automatically aggregated
5. View unified stats in Profile → Stats tab

Once you've linked your account, you can view your unified statistics:

1. Go to Profile tab (bottom navigation)
2. Tap on "Stats" tab
3. View your unified statistics across all sports

What You'll See:

Cricket Statistics Example

If you've linked multiple cricket player profiles, you'll see:

• Total Runs: Sum of all runs from all linked profiles
• Total Wickets: Sum of all wickets from all linked profiles
• Matches Batted/Bowled: Total matches across all teams
• Batting Average: Calculated from aggregated runs and dismissals
• Strike Rate: Calculated from aggregated runs and balls
• Recent Matches: Last 10 matches from all linked profiles

When you link your account to a player profile in a cricket tournament with leaderboard enabled, you automatically earn SportEve Points (SPs) based on your match performance:

These points are:

• Automatically calculated after each match is completed
• Silently added to your SPs (no intrusive notifications)
• Visible in the tournament leaderboard
• Added to your total SP Points in your profile

I Don't See Any Statistics

• Make sure you've linked your player profile to your SportEve account
• Check that matches have been completed (stats are calculated after match completion)
• Wait a few minutes for stats to be calculated (usually happens automatically)
• Try refreshing the stats page

I Can't Find My Player Profile

• Make sure you've been added to a team squad in the community
• Contact the community admin or team captain to add you to the team
• Check if you're looking in the correct community and team

My Stats Are Not Updating

• Stats are automatically updated after each match completion
• There may be a slight delay (usually a few minutes)
• Try refreshing the stats page or wait a bit longer
• If stats are still not updating after a day, contact support

I Want to Unlink a Profile

Currently, account linking is permanent. If you need to unlink a profile, contact support with your account details and the player profile you want to unlink.
