The News page is your main feed for sports news and articles. It displays articles in a card-based layout with images, headlines, and preview text.

Article Cards

Each article card shows:

• Article image/thumbnail
• Headline/title
• Preview text (first few lines)
• Reading time estimate
• Publication date
• View count, likes, and shares

Reading Articles

1. Tap on an article card to open the full article
2. Read the complete content
3. Scroll to see all sections
4. View related articles at the bottom

Filter news articles to see content relevant to your interests:

All News Button

Tap "All News" to see all articles without any filters applied.

Tournament Filters

Filter articles by tournament:

1. Scroll through the filter chips at the top
2. Tap on a tournament name to filter
3. Only articles related to that tournament will be shown
4. Tap "All News" to clear the filter

Sport Category Filters

Filter articles by sport type:

• Cricket
• Badminton
• Table Tennis
• Chess
• And more...

Clearing Filters

To remove all filters and see all news:

1. Tap the "All News" button
2. Or tap the active filter chip again to deselect it

Liking Articles

1. Tap the heart icon on an article card
2. The article is liked and the count increases
3. Tap again to unlike

Sharing Articles

1. Tap the share icon on an article card
2. Select sharing method:
   • Share as image (screenshot of article card)
   • Share link (deep link to article)
   • Copy link
3. Share via your preferred app or method

Bookmarking Articles

1. Tap the bookmark icon on an article card
2. The article is saved to your bookmarks
3. Access bookmarks from Profile → Settings → Bookmarks
4. Tap the bookmark icon again to remove from bookmarks

Viewing Article Details

Each article card shows:

• View count (how many times it's been viewed)
• Like count (number of likes)
• Share count (number of shares)
• Reading time estimate

The News page also displays the Quick Access card at the top, showing:

• Starred tournaments
• Starred play sessions
• Live matches from starred items

Tap on any item in the Quick Access card to navigate directly to it.
