Set-Based Match Overview
Set-based matches are used for sports like Badminton, Table Tennis, Squash, and Pickleball where matches are played in sets. Each set is won by the first player/team to reach a certain number of points.
Creating Set-Based Matches
- Go to a tournament or play session
- Tap "Create Match" or "Start Match"
- Select sport type (Badminton, Table Tennis, etc.)
- Select participants (players or teams)
- Choose match format:
- Best of 3 sets
- Best of 5 sets
- Single set (for practice)
- Set match date and time
- Tap "Create" to create the match
Set-Based Scoring
Recording Points
- Open the match scoring screen
- Select the current set
- Tap "+" buttons to add points to players/teams
- The score updates automatically
- When a set is won, the system moves to the next set
Set Completion
A set is won when:
- A player/team reaches the required points (e.g., 21 for Badminton)
- They have a 2-point lead (if deuce rules apply)
Match Completion
A match is won when:
- A player/team wins the required number of sets (e.g., 2 out of 3)
- Tap "End Match" to complete the match
Match Summary
Viewing Match Summary
After a match is completed, you can view:
- Final score (sets won by each player/team)
- Set-by-set breakdown
- Match duration
- Winner information
Download Match Summary
- Go to the completed match summary page
- Tap the download icon
- The match summary will be captured as a screenshot
- Share or save the image
AI Match Summary
Admins can generate AI-powered summaries:
- Tap "AI Summary" button on the match summary page
- Wait for AI to generate summary
- Review and post to community feed
